This is not a throwaway page; I genuinely believe that the ability to bake is a skill that indicates benefits for any workplace. It shows that a person is patient; creative; attentive to detail; able to focus, multitask, and time-manage; capable of following directions but also of improvising and doing damage control when necessary; and determined enough to keep trying and perfecting through all kinds of mishaps. And, of course, it generally means you might be presented with muffins, cookies, brownies, or another such treat at any moment.
I’ve been baking since summer 2010, self-taught with the help of my mother and various blogs (mostly Sally’s Baking Addiction and Brown Eyed Baker). Here are some of the treats I’m proudest of — click each image to view it bigger. For more, visit my Instagram or my retired food/film blog, Cinenoms.
